Where do you want to get marrird?
On the beach in Palermo
The beach in Palermo was selected a few years ago as one of the 10 most romantic beaches in the world by a monthly magazine in Australia. It is located approximately 7 km from Palermo in a beautiful bay with Monte Pellegrino, the promontory of Palermo, on one side and an idyllic fishing village on the other.
On the other side of the mountain there is a stretch of cliffs, as seen above – also ideal for a wedding and less populated in the summer.
Here is a small clip from a wedding in 2019.
Palermo
In the capital of Sicily, weddings take place either in Villa Trabia or at the Real Fonderia della Cala. The first is a noble villa with a large park in the center of Palermo, the second is an old building where iron was originally forged for shipbuilding in the nearby old port. It is now restored and very beautiful, an ideal setting for a wedding. Palermo is, with its many options for original solutions for romantic dinners and transportation to and from the wedding ceremony by carriage or vintage car, etc. an ideal place to get married. It is also easier to find luxury offers here, which can immediately become more difficult in the following places.

Corleone
Corleone, which is known worldwide for its connection to the big mafia families, can be a wonderful setting for the wedding of two young people. The people of Corleone are exceptionally warm-hearted and warmly welcome all tourists – which is also the case in most smaller towns in Sicily. Today it is still possible to plant an olive tree in Piazza Danimarca in Corleone and thus establish a special bond with the city. It is possible to hold the wedding ceremony at the royal hunting lodge in the Ficuzza forest.

Sperlinga
This small town is located in the middle of Sicily and after an agreement with the local mayor, permission was obtained to hold weddings in the recently restored castle, which was partly carved into the golden rock face in the Middle Ages. The castle was built on this high rock so that the territory could be monitored on all sides. Below the castle, the small town of Sperlinga spreads out with old traditions and cordial people. The town is known for its caves, which were inhabited until 1962 and in some cases still are.

Alia
Alia is located inland, between lush fields and overlooking a hilly landscape. In ancient times, it was an important junction for all traffic in Sicily, as the three large valleys that divide the island meet here. In spring, the place is covered in flowers. Large flocks of sheep grazing in the green fields evoke the feeling of being in a lost paradise. Here is one of the strangest examples of cave construction in Sicily. The Gurfa Cave is a complex of caves that were excavated in the soft rock by an unknown people 5,000 years ago and have been inhabited until our time. The largest of the caves, which resembles a church room and has certainly been a place of worship, has previously been the setting for weddings. The mayor has declared his willingness to hold ceremonies in this suggestive setting.

Gangi
A small medieval village, with narrow winding roads winding up a mountain peak between small stone houses: is there anything more romantic? Here you can get married in a truly beautiful, typical Sicilian mansion with frescoes that stand colorful and elegant, exactly as they did in the 18th century, when the beautiful building was built and Borremans decorated the rooms.
